Tod’s Autumn Winter 2014|2015 Women Collection
Alessandra Facchinetti’s modern interpretation of Italian set is magnificently impressive! Her ability to lead her creative team at Tod’s is reflective on how successful is the current collection. Throw yourself in complete luxury by pairing a rich printed jacquard outerwear with a lucid and opaque dress – somehow they’ve created an unexplained harmony between contrast. But the strongest look would be the electric blues and burgundies with unisex cuts and high sartorial taste. Admittedly, I also love the jacquard peplum top and trouser, which was conceptualized from a geometric carpet design. So as the leather gray top and the silver leather skirt with Hollywood driven silhouette that I’ve seen on the 50’s and 60’s film. Undoubtedly, I am super awed with the uptown taste of how well research the autumn-winter Tod’s woman’s wardrobe were concocted that resulted to amazing timeless pieces but not neglecting the urban x factor details such as the metal closures, zipped cuffs, carre sella and double breasted jackets with two outside pockets. However, there were some luxury items that were not shown on the runway that I had the chance to appreciate in person during the re-see. The heeled sandals and the metal upper loafers in gray night pony with stud details are among the must-have items to die for. On the bag department, I have set my eyes on four selections: 1. Sella Couture 2. Beige Bauletto 3. Bicolor Mink D Cube bag and 4. Tod’s Micro bag. In case you are planning to purchase at least one Tod’s bag, I suggest this Tod’s D Cube Bag that’s the new iconic bag that will surely surpass time and trends. Had you got any favorites?
